1. Will the dimensions and layout of the maze for Round 1 (Maze Runner) be disclosed to the participants in advance, or will it remain undisclosed until the event begins?
No, the layout of the maze will not be revealed to the participants prior to the event. The participants need to make sure that their created model adheres to the mentioned specifications.
2. In the Maze Runner round, is there any time limit for the completion of the obstacle course?
Yes, the maximum time limit for completing the obstacle course will be imposed for all the teams. This will check the speed and endurance of the robot.
3. How is the scoring handled in the Robo League (round 2), and what is the goal limit?
In round 2, each team will play a 1v1 ball match of 10 minutes. Each goal counts for 5 points and the first team to score 5 goals wins the match.
4. Is it mandatory for every team to have a coach?
The teams can have a coach as a technical advisor, but it's not mandatory to have a coach. The coach will be the official mentor of the team and will provide technical support to the team to make the robot.
5. How will the fixtures be decided for the second round?
The fixtures for the second round will be made based on chit-method randomization. .
6. What are the limiting dimensions of the bot? Are there any weight constraints?
The dimension of the bot must not exceed 20cm*20cm*20cm. Also, the bot must not weigh more than 3 kg.
7. How will the overall winner of the contest be declared?
The team with the maximum points (summing up both of the rounds) will be declared the winner of the event.
8. Is it mandatory to buy CR (Common Registration) to participate in RoboRiot?
No, you can participate in RoboRiot by simply registering and paying the event's registration fee.
9.Are participants allowed to participate in other events and workshops if we register for RoboRiot?
No, participation in other events and workshops requires a separate Common Registration (CR), excluding RoboRiot registration.
10.Is this event open to everyone?
No, this event is specifically hosted for school and college students.
11.Can I bring my own robot to compete, or will robots be provided on-site?
Participants are required to create their own robots to participate in the event. For more details, please refer to the rule book.
