Organised by Team Aaruush, SRM Run 9.0 is an initiative that unites the energy of youth and the wisdom of experience to inspire positive societal change while championing sustainable living. With the theme of “Zero Waste” and the tagline “Sustainable Choices and Holistic Efforts”, this edition of SRM Run focuses on fostering awareness about waste reduction, responsible consumption, and mindful living. It aims to motivate participants to embrace sustainable habits that protect the environment and create a cleaner, healthier future for all.
Structure
The registrations begin at 05:30 AM for the 5.06 km run where SRM Run exclusive T-shirts and merchandise are provided to the participants on a first come first serve basis. Starting from Tech Park Avenue, the participants cover the defined marathon course set-up in the SRM premises and ultimately cross the finish line. Hydration pit stops are set up for participants to hydrate themselves with a refreshment point at the finish line to appreciate their efforts to bring positive change.
FAQ
1. Will every participant receive the SRM Run T-shirt?
Ans. The SRM Run T-Shirts and goodies will be provided to the participants on a first come first serve basis.
2. When does the registration for SRM Run 9.0 begin?
ans: Participants can register in advance for the SRM Run at aaruush.org. Physical Registration will be completed on the day of the run which begins at 05:30 AM at Tech Park Avenue.
3. Will refreshments be provided to the participants?
Ans: Hydration spots will be set up for the participants throughout the run course. Moreover, refreshments will be provided to the participants at the finish line.
4. Is there any registration fee to participate in the SRM Run?
Ans: No, SRM Run 9.0 is free of cost for all the participants.
